CUMBERLAND COUNTY VISITOR INFORMATION
With the mission to position Cumberland County as a destination for conventions, tournaments, and individual travel, Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau has been assisting group tour operators, meeting planners, travelers, and more since its inception. Our tourist information center adheres to collaborative, customer-centric, ethical, and professional values and guidelines.
We strive to reawaken and rekindle the American spirit in every part of Cumberland County’s community by supporting and marketing the visitor’s experience. Our full-service convention and visitors bureau is a private and not-for-profit organization, which is funded by a sales occupancy tax. The Bureau is accredited by the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) that distributes over 50,000 visitors guides to guests and newcomers to the Fayetteville area every year.
We have two Visitor Information Centers- The main office and Satellite office. Our main office is located at 245 Person Street, which is open for visitors from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. Our satellite office is inside the Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum, which is located a few blocks from our main office.
